We compare coverage from partner carriers and agencies we work with and may help you purchase a policy. We may receive commission from those partners. We are not an insurance carrier, and we are not a government office, motor vehicle department or licensing authority.

2. Quotes, policies and who issues them

Nothing on this website is a binder or a policy. A quote we pass on is an indication of price and terms from a carrier and remains subject to that carrier's underwriting approval. No insurance contract of any kind is created between you and Auto Policy Desk. Any insurance you obtain is provided by a licensed third party carrier under a policy that carrier issues, and it is governed entirely by that policy's terms and conditions.

3. Decisions belong to the carrier

Every decision about coverage, including whether to accept a risk, what premium to charge, which discounts apply, whether to renew or cancel, and whether to pay a claim, is made by the issuing carrier under its own underwriting and claims guidelines and applicable law. We have no authority over those decisions and cannot guarantee any particular outcome, price, saving or approval.

4. General information, and rules that keep changing

Insurance products, rating factors, statutory minimum limits, required forms and market availability differ from state to state and change over time. Information on this website is provided for general comparison and educational purposes as of the date it was published. We take reasonable care in our advisory work, but we cannot warrant that every detail on the site is complete, current or applicable to your particular situation. Always confirm the governing terms in your policy documents and with the issuing carrier.

5. Not legal, tax or financial advice

Our advisory services concern insurance coverage only. We do not provide legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, investment advice or financial planning, and nothing we say should be relied on as any of those.
